Application for grant of a Limited Licence

Limited Licence Brochure

Currently the internet lodgement system caters for applicants seeking a limited licence for one day functions only. It is envisaged that multi-day applications, outdoor and large function applications will be able to be lodged electronically in the near future.

Persons seeking to apply for a limited licence for multi-day, outdoor or large functions can download a limited licence application form. This form can be posted to:

The Office of the Liquor and Gambling Commissioner
GPO Box 2169
ADELAIDE SA 5001; or

Faxed on: 8226 8457

Lodgement of an application does not mean the application is granted. You will be notified of the outcome of your application at the address provided in the application.

All applications for a limited licence must be lodged with the Liquor and Gambling Commissioner at least 14 days prior to the function's start date and must be accompanied by the prescribed fee.

If you are lodging an application electronically you will need to provide credit card details. This office accepts Diners Club, Bankcard, Visa and MasterCard. There is no fee if the applicant is a licensed charity pursuant to the Collections for Charitable Purposes Act 1939.

The nominated person(s) taking responsibility for the sale, consumption or supply of liquor during the function, must be present at the function at all times when liquor is being sold, consumed or supplied.

Is this limited licence application for:
A current liquor licence holder under the Liquor Licensing Act 1997?
Not a current liquor licence holder?
