Codes of Practice
In accordance with condition (nb) of the Attachment A conditions imposed
on all gaming machine licences, licensees must ensure that operations under
the gaming machine licence conform with the codes of practice approved by
the Independent Gambling Authority.
On 12 February 2004, the Independent Gambling Authority issued new codes
of practice to all gaming machine licensees. These new codes became
effective from 30 April 2004.
Amendments to the codes were issued to licensees taking effect from 1 December 2008 and 1 September 2010 .
The codes provide for a number of changes to the responsibilities
required of licensees. All licensees should familiarise themselves with
the contents of these codes and advise and instruct all relevant gaming
staff.
