May 2010
In April 2010 the Minister for Gambling issued a Notice of Exemption under Regulation 10 of the Gaming Machine Regulations
2005. This notice grants ocean going passenger vessels entering South Australian state waters an exemption from section
45 of the Gaming Machines Act 1992 to possess gaming machines. The exemption is conditional on the ocean going passenger
vessel not operating electronic gaming machines while in South Australian waters. Click here to view the exemption in full.

The second trading round for gaming machine entitlements is to be held
on 21 September 2005. Applications to buy or sell entitlements in the trade must be received by this

Outcome of the First Gaming Machine Entitlement Trading Round Held on

Venues must now nominate gaming machines to be disabled on 1 July 2005
All venues that have excess machines operating as a result of the
compulsory reduction in gaming machine numbers are now required to
nominate those gaming machines that are to be disabled on 1 July 2005.
Each affected venue received a list of the machines operating at that
venue for selection and return to this Office by 24 June 2005 -

Date Set for First Trading Round
The first trading round for gaming machine entitlements is to be held on 11 May 2005. Applications to buy or sell entitlements in the trade must be received by this Office no later than 5pm on Wednesday 4 May 2005. Bulletin 14 April 2005.
