The Good Sports state office has been busy forming regional partnerships and training local workers to assist with
implementing the program in country regions. These new partnerships play an important role in the continued wide-spread

Outcome of the Second Gaming Machine Entitlement Trading Round Held on 21 September 2005 - Bulletin 18 Oct 2005
The Good Sports Accreditation Program is a community-based sports development initiative of the Australian Drug
Foundation and has been developed to assist community sporting clubs manage the responsible service and consumption
of alcohol in their venues. In South Australia the Drug and Alcohol Services Council is currently piloting this
program, prior to statewide implementation. For more information click here.
If you are a crowd controller who works for licensed venues where you may be required to use force to remove patrons
or prevent their entry, you must become an approved crowd controller with OLGC. Applications are now being accepted
from security agents who wish to become approved crowd controllers. Click here for details.

Date Set for Second Trading Round - The second trading round for gaming machine entitlements is to be held
on 21 September 2005. Applications to buy or sell entitlements in the trade must be received by this

Outcome of the First Gaming Machine Entitlement Trading Round Held on
11 May 2005 - Bulletin 17 June 2005
Venues must now nominate gaming machines to be disabled on 1 July 2005
All venues that have excess machines operating as a result of the
compulsory reduction in gaming machine numbers are now required to
nominate those gaming machines that are to be disabled on 1 July 2005.
Each affected venue received a list of the machines operating at that
venue for selection and return to this Office by 24 June 2005 -
